เมื่อวันที่ 27 กันยายน 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดงาน Sustainability Expo (SX2024) มหกรรมด้านการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน ครั้งที่ 5 ภายใต้แนวคิด "พอเพียง ยั่งยืน เพื่อโลก" (Sufficiency for Sustainability) โดยมี ดร.สุเมธ ตันติเวชกุล กรรมการและเลขาธิการมูลนิธิชัยพัฒนา เป็นประธานเปิดงาน ณ SX Grand Plenary Hall ชั้น G ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ ทั้งนี้งานจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 27 กันยายนถึง 6 ตุลาคม 2567
ภายในงานประกอบด้วยกิจกรรมหลากหลาย ทั้งบูธนิทรรศการนำเสนอนวัตกรรมด้านการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน การเสวนาให้ความรู้และแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์จากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และองค์กรระหว่างประเทศ รวมทั้งร้านค้าจำหน่ายผลิตภัณฑ์ด้านการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และกิจกรรมสำหรับเยาวชน
ทั้งนี้ ส.อ.ท. ได้มีส่วนร่วมทั้งในกิจกรรมนิทรรศการในพื้นที่โซน Better Living และกิจกรรมประกาศเจตจำนงความร่วมมือโครงการ PackBack เก็บกลับบรรจุภัณฑ์ เพื่อวันที่ยั่งยืนของสถาบันการจัดการบรรจุภัณฑ์และรีไซเคิลเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อมหรือ TIPMSE ที่จะจัดขึ้นในวันที่ 2 ตุลาคม 2567 นี้
On September 27, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Tiaranukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended the opening ceremony of the Sustainability Expo (SX2024), the 5th fair on sustainable development under the theme "Sufficiency for Sustainability" (พอเพียง ยั่งยืน เพื่อโลก), with Dr. Sumate Tantivejakul, Director and Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, as the opening speaker at the SX Grand Plenary Hall, G floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event is held from September 27 to October 6, 2024.
The event features a variety of activities, including exhibition booths showcasing innovations in sustainable development, knowledge-sharing forums, and experiences from experts in government, private sectors, and international organizations, as well as shops selling sustainable development products and activities for youth.
Moreover, the FTI participates in the exhibition activities in the Better Living zone and the declaration of intent for collaboration on the PackBack project, focused on the return of packaging for a sustainable future by the Thailand Institute of Packaging and Recycling for Sustainable Environment (TIPMSE), which will take place on October 2, 2024.
